SUMA launches the Ambassadors project, an initiative that aims to give visibility to the people who represent the company every day in their work, in teams and in close relationships with municipalities and communities.

The project stems from a desire to value the contribution of those who make things happen in different areas, from field operations to technical, administrative and support functions that ensure the planning, coordination and continuity of services. It is these people who, in a coordinated and responsible manner, make it possible to provide a rigorous, consistent and tailored response to customer needs.

Throughout 2026, the Ambassadors project will showcase different career paths through real testimonials from SUMA employees, reflecting the diversity of roles, experiences and responsibilities that underpin the company's operational excellence.

This initiative is part of the strategy to value people and strengthen SUMA's identity as a leading company in waste management and urban services, integrated into the Mota-Engil Group, and aligned with principles such as the ambition to do more and better, integrity in the daily performance of duties, cohesion between teams and team spirit.

The contents of the project will be disclosed in stages, reinforcing the connection between people, the organisation and SUMA's mission.

The different testimonials can be followed on SUMA's institutional social networks: Facebook and LinkedIn.
